i don’t see the point of this book. i’d rather read lenin, a true eastern revolutionary, than an uptight westerner’s take on communism, filtered through a post-doctoral education in the imperial core. the prologue written in the first-person should’ve been cut entirely, the author’s disingenuous take on 9/11 as if it wasn’t just america’s own hannibal directive. i really dislike western writers.
