King said this was his scariest book. I think he said that since many of the events that happen in the book (including the setting) was based on his day to day life at the time. With that being said the book is slightly unsettling so far. The kindly old man who lives across the street who has befriended the Louis Creed family has to know more than he’s letting on. I feel that with certainty.

This book is freaking me out. Legit makes me uneasy and got my brain over thinking. Got it at 10:30 last night and didn’t put it down until 1am. So upset at Zach for such a phenomenal book recommendation.
