It’s a page turner, for sure.

So far, mixed results. I like how the story is a series of case studies in how sentient beings can accept and respect each other. I don’t like how the lone white male is a straw man time after time. The author declares him to be an A-Hole before the reader has a chance to observe his words or behavior. In subsequent scenes he is depicted as primitive, and perhaps obsolete. He is a walking counter example.

Loving it! A definite page turner. Good to see the characters again and meet new ones.

I like the tangible, hands-on science that can be done. I plan to work my way through the different projects, and try some things I had not considered before, such as astrometry. It is surprising how much you can do with a DSLR camera and a few filters. I am more interested in deep sky, but for the planetary and asteroid folks there is plenty for you as well.
