I started the audiobook book of this this afternoon and the male narrator is SO BAD I had to quit. None of the libraries I have access to seem to have the ebook version, so I guess I’m stuck for a bit, which is fine because the tbr is way too tall.

I’m on page 100 and here’s the entire story so far: heroine saves hero from hanging, they’re fake engaged as a result. Heroine is a blacksmith. Hero is a criminal.

Ugh. I can’t believe I haven’t learned my lesson with Sophie Jordan. This is book number four of hers that I’ve read and it’s suffering from the same issues as the others—namely, SO MUCH repetitive inner thoughts that don’t progress anything at all.
