Help! I don’t think I’m going to finish this one. Giving it another 30 pages but despite the interesting premise, it’s not a good fit for me. Am I supposed to dislike all the characters? Mmh.

My sense is this collection will represent the longest book (700 plus pages) I tackle in 2026. To date I have read the essays of Virginia Woolf, G.K. Chesterton, and E.B. White.
