Erm, who is Dexter?

This name just randomly popped up in the book and I don't think there is a character called Dexter so I'm assuming it's a typo or I'm missing something 😅

Unsure about this one right now. Even though the FMC is supposed to be 167 years old, her internal monologue is that of a naive 17 year old who thinks she can take on the world.

I've also come across a paragraph where the same thing is repeated several times... 🙄

Gonna keep pushing through though 😅

Didn't know what to expect with this, it sounded like something I'd love but I've been DNFing A LOT of books lately.

I am so obsessed with this story right now though 😳 it literally is ticking all of my boxes 😅

I'll be honest, I'm kinda bored and already considering DNFing this.

LOVING this!! ♥️ Saw it described as The Vampire Diaries meets Gladiators and it is SO right!

Wow, this feels very much like a copy and paste Caravel but more gothic and darker. Not sure how I feel about the very obvious similarities right now...

Hooked on this from just the first chapter alone… hoping it stays that way!

Giving up with this one - just not for me!,

I am LOVING this book so far! All the characters are great, and every chapter makes me want to read more. Probably going to be one of my favourites!

So I've come to the conclusion that Landon and Lucas are actually not two different guys but the same person...

"Diplomatically, I hadn't voiced the no shit comment that popped into my head" I'm loving this book already purely due to the witty humour! The writing is so good!

I have no idea why but whenever I try to picture what Brooke looks like, I just think of beauty blogger @laurenbeautyy if you follow her on instagram or twitter you might get what I mean!

This book is realistic. Brooke has yet to speak to Ryan even though she's seen him around. Unlike other books, where two people bump into each other and just get together there and then, this one follows a more natural relationship which takes time to develop. I also love how honest Brooke is with herself and her outlook on life.

Apparently the author gets confused with her own characters! She got the two main male characters confused... Not good!

Clay and Cami's relationship is creepy! If she can't see he likes her then she's an idiot!

I'm really getting into the book right now. Although I was sceptical at first, I'm really starting to enjoy it! I'm not gong to lie, everything that happens is obvious, there's no realnmystery to it, but it's great for a light, easy read.

So far so good. The whole finding out she's a witch happens a little too fast though. Certain parts like that of the gods creating a spirit world first seems a little far fetched for me! But, I'm still interested to see where the story will go...

Just about to begin reading.. I'm not sure as of yet how I'm going to feel about this book! I'm sure I'll find out soon though!
