Brian's chapters are strong. The chapter on glory is a great explanation of living out how God made us to be and how that is a glory.

Enjoying the content. Ben's chapters feel too chummy/conversational.

Brian's fatherliness comes through in his first chapter. You can almost hear his writing being said to his kids.

Ben does a good job of showing the cosmos as a comedy.

Portions of the writing will likely become dated - the authors talked about hoping this would be a book that gets handed down, but there's a fair amount of online references and humor that I don't think will age well or aligns with that goal

Prose in the introduction feels clunky and derivative of ND Wilson's nonfiction so far.

This book has been very thought provoking. I've been encouraged to spend more time in prayer and the word by George Mueller's words. The trust he placed in God is beautiful to see and it's wonderful to see that faith rewarded. It seems like his view of money neglected the full counsel of scripture. Paul tells us to provide for our families, and the book of Proverbs instructs us to provide an inheritance to our family

I like the plot beats, but Sanderson's execution of dialogue and characters isn't as strong as it became in later books.
