SPOILER, but I need to process this: How did Jack turn venin before challenging Violet if he didn’t know about them at that point? Is that truly what prevented him from dying, thus leaving Varrish and Nolon to heal him?

SPOILERS, but I need to process this: We bring Jack back at Varrish’s design, make him suspiciously nice, then have him stay in Basgiath when everyone else goes to Aretia. NOW he’s slaughtering his own dragon to bring down the wards… Why? Was Varrish working with the dark wielders? Jack’s involved how? Make it make sense

I’m grateful for the plot twist, and even more so since we’re not exactly back to where we were ‘five months ago’, but I can’t help but think: if the roles were reversed, Xaden would have forgiven Violet in a heartbeat.

WOWWW, the chokehold this series has me in right now is insane!! The General is an absolute badass, Violet is stronger than I ever could have imagined when I first began Fourth Wing, and Xaden is a DREAMBOAT.

We know she has her work cut out for her with the relics and being on the war-front, but now with Layne used as bait — how will there be time to wrap this up, face Belikon AND have a war with Madra?? Can this really be a (planned) trilogy??
