hi bianca i read to chapter 59 (the chapters are prime numbers so it's really the 17th chapter) YAYYYY GF BOOK CLUB!!!!!

not too far into the book yet, and the main character already insisted on someone having sex with her even though he didn't want to.. just because it is a man doesn't make this a funny light-hearted story to tell.. sounds more like she's admitting to not having enthusiastic consent... yikes.

the grandma in the book so far is funny and real and i enjoy how shameless taboo things are written about.

FINALLY carrie said something reasonable “I hate straight men” (343). So many things about this book are making me mad! And they refer to a therapist as a shrink and refer to self harm casually as a metaphor for being mad. It was only written in 2010!! I keep waiting for it to get better, since I enjoyed the show so much.!

oh my god i can’t STAND sebastian. what a complete asshole. carrie is cool and she talks about being a feminist but like broooo this high school straight romance is too much for me. it’s not even romance it’s just embarrassing. so far, every part of this story is terrible yet it’s still fun to read. hmmmm
