This book was simple and heartwarming and the type of slow burn that felt fast. I loved it.

I love Jenn Bennett. The way she writes is easy to read and heartwarming while still staying in touch with real life teenage experiences. This book was not that. It was hard to start, hard to continue reading. The writing and POVs were confusing and every choice felt abrupt. With all that said, I still enjoyed the book a lot. I just wouldn’t recommend it as the Jenn Bennett book to read.
