I’m more than halfway through this advance listening copy and I have no idea what is happening!

This book is so freaking boring! But I am committed to finishing. I’m compulsive like that…

Why is this audiobook 18 hours long?! I’m halfway through and I don’t give a damn anymore. I was really loving it but now I’m just tired of Anne.

Am I on acid?! This book is absurd in the best ways. I guess it really is official: I am a big fan of horror fiction.

A “love letter” to one of my favorite cities in the world?! Sign me up!

I read this book called All Fours for men. That description makes me really dread this book as I hated All Fours! I’ve also not enjoyed half of the 2025 Booker long list nominees that I’ve read so far.

And now a palette cleanser! I’ve been reading a lot of prestige books, contenders for 2025 literary prizes and best of’s. I need a fun, lightweight read as a break from the heavy and depressing books.

I know this is a serious tome but everytime the narrator says “the paper remembers” (and it’s a lot), I counter to myself “Pepperidge farm remembers” and chuckle to myself…
