The lack of object permanence but it’s me forgetting EVERY TIME that I hate a triple timeline book and being excited to start one but then wondering if it would be book blasphemy to just skip around and read all of the Maria parts to the end and then all the Alice parts and then all the Lottie parts bc I just want to stick with each person to the end of their story

Peter is THE WORST

Strong do not recommend this as an audiobook, the background sound effects are obnoxious

This shit is devastating, why did no one warn me???

Every time he mentions that someone is staying in a room with a porthole I am filled with dread
