OlaBas is 46% done with Fool's Assassin (The Fitz and The Fool Trilogy, #1)
Chapter 10 is the closest Hobb has ever come to a jumpscare, and the two following chapters are among the best writing she’s ever done. I have already cried more over her books than over those of all other authors put together, but at this rate, I will be a sobbing mess by the end of the trilogy. Hobb’s the queen of the first-person POV, and no one else comes close. Wonderful stuff.
