I just feel that it's my duty to warn all the readers that you should never ever take Aspirin if you're bleeding. Aspirin prevents your blood from clotting and you won't be able to stop the bleeding. Aspirin is not just a painkiller.

This book always gets the main character beat to a pulp. I feel like in the entire book he is a walking bruise. I keep picturing it and don't feel comfortable reading it. Fingers crossed I will finish it.

I think Kuang’s magic is brilliant and unique. BUT it’s not brilliant to tell something like “everything seemed so perfect, I never knew everything would go to shit in the future”. This is an instant turn off for me, I don’t want to know it for sure. And now I’m stuck 🥲

Why is Theo such a douche?! I’ve seen some red flags in the previous book, but it was just a little annoying and in this book, he is a raging dick.

This has become a filler read for me when I'm waiting in lines or just waiting. You know it basically doesn't have a plot but just explains the same thing from different angles. So I don't feel the urgency to finish it.

So far I think it's the most hilarious book I've ever read.

It’s going slowly but steadily. This a book I find myself reading whenever I have a spare minute between my errands.

I’m so bored

I’m getting inpatient here. I guess I was spoiled by shorter books and now it takes me eternity to finish this one. Or my attention span have gotten much shorter.

This political thing between the interactions with the main characters bores me to tears. It also feels like the shit is going to hit the fan, so I was put off of this story

I'm not really invested in the story, it's too action-packed to my liking and I guess I need more tension between the main character. Maybe I will go back and finish the book just for the sake of completeness.

I decided that BDSM play is not my jam and the way the main heroine behaves around the male protagonist feels a bit pathetic. I'm still undecided if I'm going to finish it.

I decided that I'm not ready for all the suspension and heartbreak in the series until the release of the last book.

I just can’t. It’s all doom and gloom every chapter. You don’t even have time to have your hopes up, because the way the narrative is done just keeps reminding you that everything will end badly.

I dunno why, but For the last 10% I just drag myself through this. Feedbacks sound very hopeful but how much it would take to get better?
