i continue my quest to read all of these...right off the bat dorothy no longer has a southern accent but her talking cat does, and the 1906 SF earthquake is the catalyst for getting them into OZ this time so perfect book thus far

re-reading since i haven't read it since high school and i want to make sure i can properly review my opp emeral fennell (first ruiner of killing eve)

baum giving dorothy a new speaking pattern for the third book is really a work of art, keeps the reader on their toes

"I don't want to be a thing that the village isn't supposed to know about." pp. 77
