“Darkness eventually leads to light.” Alright Alex, come on wisdom!! I love that all three of them have to go through a delusion and that Alex is there for Nic, then they show up for JP. I love this!! And JP reminds me of a mix of Carl and Sheen from Jimmy Neutron 😂

Roho is now an unremarkable and can possibly come back?! Just read about this RIGHT after reading the chapter titles and seeing one is called Roho Returns!!! And the Devil’s daughter helped destroy the original Black Wall Street?!

The Underground Railroad is REAL?! This is so cool and leaves room for a really good prequel! But also, I think the pen that Ty gave Nic is the Msaidizi and she will realize she has had it the whole time!

And now the kids are all alone to go on an even more exciting adventure with time and opportunity to fill in all the blanks and get to know each other better!

Nic has a twin brother?! And her dad kidnapped her?! And the image for each chapter so far has been either a Msaidizi or what seems to he a bag from Ms. Lena’s! Is Uncle Ty really the bad guy in all of this and knows that Nic is really the Chosen One that will defeat him?!

This is so fun and exciting so far! It is so cool that Nic is homeschooled by her dad and the museum trip has been AWESOME!! JP can see all of this?! And this mysterious Manifestor is Nic’s mom?! What is going on?!

I have had this book for almost a year and am just now starting it. It’s off to a great start and setting up for an exciting adventure!! And who and how and why does Nic’s dad know her favorite author?!

This is such a fun and exciting quest!!

I really like how this book presents reading development in phases versus complete stages to be at. Very interesting and helpful in approaching identifying a child’s reading ability. And I love that it is all tied to the science of reading.
