Joel Salatin's book, Folks This Ain't Normal, does a good job at thinking how food, farming, and waste could be handled in America. He lays out how we could be better stewards and advocates for Americans to have small homesteads to handle waste, feed themselves, and become more self-sufficient. Joel is a Christian, but I wouldn't say this is a Christian book, it's more of an environmental stewardship book.
