July 2025 - what a delight to read the books I love with my son. At six, he is loving the story of the Hobbit.

Ch 35 - halfway through the chapter, I had to put it down. I stopped reading for 2 months. Scarlett is just too much, I just can’t handle her. Who would do such a thing to a stranger, let alone their sister? She has made this book painful throughout, but this was another level. 😳

AO Y1 - we are just loving these stories. K asks for more, they seem too short to him. :) Recently, we’ve started researching the origin of our favourites. It’s helpful to know which are based in fact, and which likely more in lore.
