The parts about the Roosevelt family were 5 star, but the remaining parts of the book were way too long and wordy.

Really interesting book, although the dog doesn’t appear until after the first third of the book. Writing isn’t the best.

Amazing writing and an amazing story.
I’m glad I listen to it as an audiobook because a lot of the names would be difficult to read as they are from Ghana.

Can’t get finished before it’s due back at the library

Second time reading this book. I got much more out of it the 2nd time. Terrific writing.

Disappointed, usually Jodi Picoult is so good, so readable...this is a flop. DNF

I could care less about the characters. They seem annoying.
