Very disappointing. The narrative chops up the battle in a way that disrupts the chronological sequence of events. One quoted memory of Sickles’s aides appears twice. Chadwick writes that JEB Stuart wrote a report after the war, but he was killed in 1864. Sentence structure is basic, with short sentences relating obvious details. Proofing mistakes. The author does not appear to understand the style very well.
