Deb Jacobs is starting The Beast Awakens (Aberrations #1)
I know it’s for kids, but I often found it too scary (though I am a wimp). Did not finish

Deb Jacobs
Deb Jacobs is on page 269 of 785 of The Modern Faerie Tales: Tithe; Valiant; Ironside (Modern Faerie Tales, #1-3)
I’ve finished Tithe, the first of the three stories, and really enjoyed it. I like the way Holly Black mixes the modern world with faerie tropes such as the power of names, not eating faerie food, changelings etc.

I understand all three stories are tied together.

Deb Jacobs is 50% done with Just One Damned Thing After Another (The Chronicles of St Mary's, #1)
I’m really enjoying this: what’s not to love? There’s time-travel, science, history, romance...

This is published in the UK as The Mirroculist Mission, published by UCLan Publishing in 2019. I have a signed copy, the author being a local lad (as it were)

Deb Jacobs is on page 129 of 416 of The Raven Tower
I’m finding this a bit hard going. It took me a quarter of the book to realise who (or what) the narrator was and the second person point of view is hard to read. The story is a bit slow currently: hopeful it will pick up.

Deb Jacobs is starting Romeo and/or Juliet
Because this is the sort of book where you choose what happens, you flip from page to page. That means you can't tell what progress you've made, though I'm up to the wedding. I quite like the idea, but you have to concentrate, because there's quite a few short side-stories. I kept my finger in the starting page. Also, difficult to read in the bath.

Deb Jacobs is starting Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay (Fantastic Beasts: The Original Screenplay, #1)
I think it helps to have seen the film first. Not often that is the case! The book is illustrated with line drawings of the creatures, but that doesn't really do them justice - think I need to see the film again
