This has a very disturbing, knock out beginning. I put it down after I’d read it and did not come back for a long while. Reading further now makes the tremendous challenges of addressing the ecological crisis very clear and maintains a strong level of intensity.

Light and relaxing reading. Just enough character and plot twists to keep interest and a desire to read more, with some non-obtrusive reminders that faith, good relationships, and helping one another really do make a difference.
