May not finish this book. The characters are irritating and the plot is needlessly dramatic. An honest conversation and good boundaries could solve a lot of the main characters problems.

Can't do it. Maybe it gets better but I'm not hopeful enough to try.

I can't with this book. This reads like a YA romance, and is definitely supose to be for adults

Right off the bat throwing out words like "sissy". Not sure I'm going to like this one.

Have you ever been reading a historical nonfiction and think "that's a little too much information. I do not need to know that."? No? Let me present this book.

Odd so far. I'm not sure what's actually going on, and I don't think I like it.

I've been sidetracked with 2 other books while reading this book. Not a good sign for 800 Leagues on the Amazon

I'm struggling with this one. All the lying, stealing elders are getting on my nerves. But I guess that means it's decently written.

Another hard book to read. It’s just story after story of the government lying and soldiers and settlers murdering Native Americans.

I have to take a break from reading this book. This history makes me ashamed of my state and my country. It isn’t just the government it isn’t just the few corrupt in Oklahoma it was a huge organized plundering and killing off of the Osage. I am ashamed of how Oklahomans acted then and the fact that this history has been ignored even to today. I am sick to my stomach while reading this book.
