May not finish this book. The characters are irritating and the plot is needlessly dramatic. An honest conversation and good boundaries could solve a lot of the main characters problems.

I can't with this book. This reads like a YA romance, and is definitely supose to be for adults

Not enjoying this book so far.

I'm struggling with this one. All the lying, stealing elders are getting on my nerves. But I guess that means it's decently written.

This is a hard book to get through. What happen to them is terrible.

I'm sure that I'm not going to like this book but I want to see what the hype is all about.

This author has to be one of my new favorites

Another hard book to read. It’s just story after story of the government lying and soldiers and settlers murdering Native Americans.

I have to take a break from reading this book. This history makes me ashamed of my state and my country. It isn’t just the government it isn’t just the few corrupt in Oklahoma it was a huge organized plundering and killing off of the Osage. I am ashamed of how Oklahomans acted then and the fact that this history has been ignored even to today. I am sick to my stomach while reading this book.

It’s more interesting this time around. I don’t think I was in the right frame of mind last time I tried to read it.
