I’m sorry but the statement “daffodils don’t smell” is objectively false- they do and it’s one of my favorite smells!

I’m loving this so far! It’s like a middle grade mystery packaged for adults which I think I very much needed right now.

Done with the first book in this collection. 4 stars. It’s interesting to see the difference in HM between is first and later appearances.

Scathing review coming soon this book has gone from disappointing to awful.

A quarter of the way in and I’m becoming more and more disappointed. We haven’t had a single mention of a non-deity woman, although we did talk about both Sargon and Thutmose 3, who have very important women to history in their lives. And EVERY SINGLE mention of Egypt is used as a way to interpret the Bible. I think Egypt is interesting enough on its own thank you very much.

Oh this is so good, but if it stays true to the plot of the Iliad it’s going to rip my heart out

I dunno bout this one… so far seems very narrow lensed and transphobic but hopefully out of the intro it’ll get better.
