One thing I will say is with the way perspectives jump around without warning (which is probably much less jarring when reading rather than listening to the audiobook) — these books were made for tv.

Unsurprisingly, the scene in French did not translate well without visuals 😅

My gosh, I know it’s called War and Peace, but I cannot express how bored I am with all the war-related chapters. Give me the romantic drama lol.
