Struggling to get through this book but I have been incapacitated during my read so I don't believe it's all to do with the book. Having to leave it for a while. Hope to come back to it.

I could not help but be amazed by this author's imagination. What a magical world she has managed to bring to life in this book. However, it was a very complicated read veering off in numerous directions and I did not enjoy it as much as The Night Circus.

Although this book took a while to get going, the tension was ramped up and up as it progressed and it finished with a heart thumping and truly unexpected twist. Well worth the read.
