You can't fault Fukuyama for lacking the benefit of hindsight, but his claim that information technology shouldn't be regulated for its innate anti-totalitarianism is hilarious even from the perspective of 2012-13, hardly a decade after the book was published. A lot of the attributes he ascribes to biology could also be proper to metaphysics (eg. the perception of primary colours).

Abbott even has the audacity to lament that young Australians are losing interest in their history - despite the fact that his government rejected a revamped curriculum by Stuart Macintyre in 2013-15, doubled the cost of history degrees, and pushed a one-note narrative about colonisation, Gallipoli (cont)
