Struggling slightly with this because some of the ‘twists’ are already really obvious (or what I think they are)

- Her Mum was the one who really made her and her childhood friend hate eachother
- The Gambit people got her Mum captured
- The contestants that failed the first test got killed

I have a theory that Mary *isn’t* Lola. The timing wouldn’t match up unless it’s a flashback and Lola has been murdered by Mary’s “Dad”

Surprised at the high ratings for this because so far it is nothing special.

The plot of this book doesn’t make sense

They’re fighting monsters. “Oh good there’s only 10” “yeah, 7 adults and 3 cubs” “oh no, the 12 monsters have seen us”

Has this been poorly translated or just never checked lol

“Elder Ko” just became “Elder Khoo” for about 10 pages sk guessing this has been a mistake in both books? These books have not been well checked tbh
