I’m disheartened at the start of this book. So much fluff about their podcast and every other paragraph expresses how they were groomed to be readers since a young age.

I can respect not wanting to dish out the family secrets/recipes but then, why publish a book on the topic?

With Roma in my blood, I was hoping to get tips, guess I was just another sucker that fell for the mystique claimed by gypsies.

This book went from a 4 to a 1.5. Why do all these romance books have to end with the FMC getting pregnant?

Even more so, she said she was on the pill… but then manages to conveniently realize
she hasn’t had a period for two months. Wow, imagine that, better go get an ultra sound and then worship this black and white blob on a photo for the remaining pages…

And they call that romance?

I haven’t hated a book this much in a very long time. Why I’m torturing myself to finish it, I’ll never know.

A whorible classic. A love story? A love story for whoring. 300+ sexual encounters and he still can’t get her out of his mind. And when she becomes a 70 year old widow, he shows up at her doorstep.

The only thing that would salvage this book is if she cuts his dick off.

Worst book ever.

I think it’s a shame that people aren’t seeing the value in this. The 90’s were a complete sham and Hendrix showcases all of the southern small town drama perfectly.

This is cringey satire at its finest. It’s eye-rolling ermagerds every other page. It’s a thriller that’s also chilling. 🧛‍♂️

Can’t put it down and yet anxious to read the next page. It’s perfect.

Yikes. First Colleen Hoover I’ve decided to read and this is so cringy.

There’s no romance, no chivalry, no trust, no gentleman to be found within these pages.

The characters are not likable, I’m eye rolling with every page turn… and the lack of self respect that Tate has for herself is embarrassing. That’s putting it nicely. It’s sad to read about such a weak-minded female character.
