Only 38 pages in and I have already shared SO MANY factoids with my family. Loving this.

At this point, the only thing getting me through this book is the sunk cost fallacy.

Real tempted to chuck this one into the DNF pile right now.

I love that the heroine in this book is autism coded and how neatly that aligns with the mythological associations of faerie changelings and neurodivergence. Smart.

Thus far, delightful.

Half of me thinks this is cool, and half of me finds this purely philosophical and wonders if it even bears contemplating.

I love everything about this book: the setting on an idyllic Greek isle, the Shakespeare references, the enemies to lovers trope, the friendly dolphin who plays the part of damsel in distress, mysterious murders to solve, the occasional pauses in the action for lush descriptive detail… 👍🏻

This book has not aged well. The political corruption case they are investigating is so unbelievably tame compared to literally everything in the news every day now that it’s hard to take seriously.
