Talking about stuff in the past that doesn’t advance plot again

Listening to audiobook, repetitive, lots of dialogue/events that do not advance plot at all, interesting premise, same narrator for all 3 women so hard to follow,

I wonder if it’s going to play out like the butterfly effect or maybe like back to the future

Mark just goes through the motions as nothing ever happened, I guess he makes slight changes which alters the course

So far is getting interesting, but the book spent a lot of time with teenage Mark in the first half. You go back in time 15 years to where your mother was healthy and, as the book constantly states make better decisions, and you don’t hug your mother or appreciative that she has her health back?

Twists on twists early, but so far interesting . better not be supernatural
