So good

It’s hard to see Lennie’s mom choose her husband over and over knowing he’s unstable. Love can be so beautiful and so torturous. But the skills her dad taught her keeps her lover alive and that’s ironic when the dad’s the one threatening their lives.

The book is so good. It’s a shame what Lenny has to deal with but it’s real life. Understanding a veteran who suffers from PTSD and self medicated. It’s hard to know where you stand as a kid sometimes
