This book was on a list of insightful recommended books of life under fascism. However, the writer’s family was not interesting.

The show expanded on this book and unfortunately the book was disappointing since I was the show first.

Difficult premise to pull off. Overall the story was interesting enough to keep going.

The most terrifying book of all time.

I didn’t like the main character and the first half dragged. However, the second half did redeem the story. Based on the plot of the book, I should have loved it, but there was something missing in this book that never allowed me to get invested in the characters and their choices.
