So glad to be back with one of my favorite series 🖤

This book had so much potential but it is not delivering... where is the feminine rage? She is spineless, and to be honest, acting quite dump... did we learn nothing???? And Kadra, why the hell is he all nice? He doesn't seem like the "madman" from book one, I liked that he was unhinged, I need RAGE! At this point, I am siding with the villain

I was hoping Sarai would get more unhinged, not less.... I don't see all the feminine rage they say she has and that is disappointing

I HATE when authors do this, just this scene will knock one star at least... why do they have to make their characters act SO STUPID on a situation that is extremely obvious and avoidable just to move the plot??? Like COME ON she can't be this dumb, you want me to believe that at 83%, after EVERYTHING, she still believes that person? Willingly walks in, even though she has LIE DETECTING MAGIC???? Oh fuck off I am mad
