Classic Davies. Contains all the hallmarks that makes reading his books like enjoying a large, slow whisky. There to be savoured.

50 pages in and still rambling. I am going to stick with it but it feels like this is a book written by writers for writers. Or it could turn into a great adventure which needed this huge literary backdrop.
