this book is like the complete opposite of fast paced. painfully detailed.

very mid and YA-ish; crossed the 60% mark, and so far it’s a 3 star at best. who called it romantasy?? the romance/chemistry is literally non existent and fucking forced.

a little over halfway through and i don’t think i know Rory enough, couldn’t care less. loving Sybil though, effortlessly badass, but the star of the show is — the GARGOYLE!!!! he's my fav character so far. i wish the book was written from his POV.

do i have any idea what this book is about? nope.
did i buy it just for the cover? yep!

at this point i am PRAYING that i love it because i paid a lot of money for this 🥹
