Simone Ashley did such a remarkable job in the show that book Kate will never be the real Kate 😤

Current wait time for part 2 at my library: 22 weeks 🥲. I don’t know if I can wait that long.

Reading this in preparation for season 4. I’ve never read any of the books and this is the only one I own. 😆

This book is brilliant, but it’s making me uneasy 😅. I keep making up excuses not to read it. This is what Tender is the Flesh wanted to be.

I know it looks like I’ve abandoned this book, but I find myself grabbing it on and off. Still enjoying the read. 📖

Okay, the original KU edition and the new edition are completely different. This is one of the biggest edits I’ve seen in a KU going traditional publishing. 🤔

I also got the audiobook for this one. The library gods have blessed me 👏🏻📚. I also have the old kindle edition of this book. It’s going to be interesting to compare that edition to the new one.

So far I’m enjoying this. This one is better than the first book 🫢

Managed to read a bit more but definitely considering DNFing this book

Pre-read. That title… I know nothing about this book, but I’ve seen it pop up in my Instagram feed. 🤔 It’s quite long, but let’s see how far I get. My reading slump has me in a chokehold.

One unique feature was all the decorative patio furniture that wrapped around the entire front of the house. Brightly colored tapestries draped to the sides with vibrant green vines that climbed up the walls, intertwining with fairy lights, creating a peaceful oasis on a cloudy, stormy night.

My anxious heartbeat thumped against my ribcage when I realized I was alone again. I massaged my thighs nervously, swallowing down my spit to moisten my achingly dry throat.

That mix of English and German is just… no.

Had to pause the audiobook. That accent 😭 WTF is this?!?!!

Second try. This time, I have also got the audiobook, which should help. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
