I loved the author’s notes and description of the stars! My star book came in the mail shortly before I started listening to this book. Maybe that’s how this book got on my reading list!

Seasonal cleaning: light bulbs in winter. Med cabinet in winter. Bedding goes on sale in January. Impressions on the carpet-ice cube for a couple of hours and fluff with fingers. Spring clean the window seals. March- clean out winter type food out of pantry. Spring-plants taken outside to clean. Fall-focus on kitchen and garage. Deep clean the car. Look for costume sales after Halloween.

Garage floor stains - dish soap and brush.

Freeze balloons upside down to make a candle holder outside. Don’t fill all the way!

Use fans to keep mosquitoes away.

Wrap front door in wrapping paper for parties.

Use dish soap to clean bathrooms. Stop up water and add soap. Stains-steam cleaner. Toilets- 50/50 on the outside of toilet. Dish soap inside the toilet to scrub. Lime stains-clean with a magnet! Vinegar and baking soda. Use a quick release seat and clean in the tub or shower.

Kid’s room: 1. Turn on fun music. 2. Make bed. 3. Everything on the floor goes on the bed. 4. Each category gets sorted off the bed and where it goes. 5. Celebrate. 6. Clean toys often with the 50/59 or wash like dishes in sink or tub. Stuffed animals - made after 2000in washer. Before 2000 spray with vodka and air dry.

Wax the closet rod with wax paper.

Closet: hang solids with solids and patterns with patterns. By color like retail- white, cream, tan, yellow, peach, orange, pink, red, burgundy, powder blue, green, blue, grey, brown, navy blue, black.

Sheets: the lower the thread count the crisper the sheets. The higher the thread the silkier. Cotton, bamboo, linen, cotton poly combo.

LIMB not limp!

Decorate with leaves: lamp and limp to cast a shadow on the wall. Leaf rubbing for kids: put leaves and crayons /pencils/ paper on table during cooking.

Clean granite with vodka. Sink with the 50/50 or baking soda. Appliances with the 50/50.

Rusted cast iron-clean with baking soda and bake covered in shortening.

Gift idea-dish towel with year of birth calendar. Can also use for the wrapping.

Use a furniture crayon or walnut meat on wood scratches.

Starch table cloths to help repellent stains.

Can stream clean wood floor IF SEALED

Carpet cleaner- 1. The 50/50 cleaner. 2. Laundry soap and brush. 3. Oxygen bleach diluted with water. 4. Clean towel pressed to soak. 5. Water only towel. 6. Dry towel.

Garage-push broom, tile-corn or stiff broom, porch-coconut husk broom, wood-horse hair, keep a hand broom in places often needed.

Use 50/50 water/white vinegar on almost everything. But NOT granite and stone!!!! Add citrus or time for scent and added cleaning powder.

1. Daily spread business difficulties before God twice a day. 2. Expect God to answer with help. 3. Avoid business trickery, such as a sale of 2-3 articles marked below cost for the sake of attracting customers. 4. Set apart a portion of profits, week by week, for the work of God. 5. Let Muller know monthly how God dealt with him. * His business increased!

CONTINUED: then answers will surely be given to your prayers. You may not be called upon to serve the Lord in the way the writer does, and therefore may never have answers to prayer respecting such things as are recorded here; but, in your various circumstances, your family, your business, your profession, your church position, your labour for the Lord, etc., you may have answers as distinct as any here recorded."

Not just me: Noonan, his speech writer, has consistently denied pulling the line from The Chronicles of Narnia, maintaining instead that she had not read the books at the time or that the imagery came to her organically. Critics and literary observers have long noted the coincidence, suggesting it was either an intentional literary allusion by a well-read writer or an unconscious echo of a famous fantasy classic.
