Back on my “elementary school favorites” bullshit

On hold for a few weeks while the library book circles back around to me

I'm feeling very frustrated with this book so far. Klosterman is arguing that football is so popular in America despite the average consumer's inability to participate in the sport in part due to a unique television presentation. 1) Plenty of people participate in football to some extent. I disagree on the gap between "real" and "flag" football. 2) I think football is actually very similar to other sports broadcasts.

Great book if you want to freak yourself out on a Wednesday

After a brief detour into some favorite middle grade fiction from my childhood, I'm right back into some incredibly depressing nonfiction. Wish me luck.
