An inspiration, an inspired life, a teacher, so much I loved about Marina and her courage. I liked her emphasis on the "here and now," a mantra that has been with me most of my life. I will extract quotes from her book because they express many of my ideas much better than I can do it.

This book covers a lot of the history of Ukraine from the beginning of the 20th Century to the present. It is not easy to read and will make one sick. What happened in this country, and to these people, some still alive, is beyond my ability to believe. On the other hand, for some reason, I feel it must be remembered. Perhaps because of all the deaths, to remember these innocent souls.
