Ugh I tried so hard but I just can’t do it

So far the writing is annoying me. It’s too formal because it doesn’t use enough contractions 🥴😵‍💫

I needed an audiobook to help me do tasks around the house and this one is perfeeeeect. I love a multicast production and this is 🥵🥵 (also I wish I knew how the gladiator/challenge/rite was spelled because I’m picturing it as Llamas which makes me laugh)

Well look at me listening to this audiobook again 😌 I think this is what people who like podcasts must feel like but I don’t have the energy to find and connect with a podcaster sooooo back to this (great multicast narration and somehow always available at the library)

I’ve finished the intro and translators note which definitely leave me confident this is the only translation for me. I was worried the poem itself wouldn’t be as easy to read since sometimes I like discussion of media more than the media itself but I’m really looking forward to her interpretation. AND I saw there are notes at the end discussing each book of the poem and the translation choices 😏😌

As a new years gift to myself I’m rereading the entire series but in the right order this time 😌

Mmmmm it’s gonna be a no for me dawg.
I gave it a decent try but the writing is meh and the characters are annoying and nothing is happening except the FMC causally doing CRYSTAL METH. Like what?? I get that she’s in a low place and over the duology will show growth but it’s just not for me!

I probably will never finish this book but it helped me body double tasks that I had been avoiding so I appreciate its service 🫡🫡 (also it’s enjoyable! I just needed people talking though tbh)

This was one of my favorite books in elementary school. So far it’s been fun (but somehow I had forgotten about the ketchup sandwiches like why would restaurants not talk her out of that…) I got like almost halfway through just waiting around during jury duty 🙃

I just keep finding more of tween Erin’s favorite books —also idk what it is with Rachel Hawthorne’s obsession with a high school FMC + a collegiate MMC but I guess the early 2000s were an easier time…
The main thing I remember from this is the tomboy FMC putting on mascara (but it like dotted all over her eyes) and being super embarrassed after but the MMC was just like wow… her eyes are so big & pretty

On book 4/4 of my old tween paperbacks I found. Feeling a little icky that the FMC is 17 and the male lead is 20… idk we’ll see how that goes

Wait I got that (the tutor) confused with the sequel. I think this is the one with like a strawberry farm and they go camping 😂😂
