THIS BOOK IS NEVER GOING TO END

I realized a little while ago that I didn't actually want the main characters to get together, which is really odd because there's nothing wrong with them. I just didn't click with them and now I'm having the somewhat novel experience of not hating the couple, but also being put off and a little irritated every time their attraction is brought up. Like, let's just get back to the treason stuff, yeah?

Too generous, one star.

Did I just watch ANOTHER mc get raped by their love interest in front of the football team to save them from bullying? I'm kind of speechless. How could this happen twice? There was literally another way but noooo. Also instant gratification is the death of erotica because how do you have a guy from a homophobic household and one from a homophobic town but not lean into slow burn and a build up of sexual tension?

There's so much left and this book is feeling veryyy 2 star~ This is probably a dnf

their goodbyes are more difficult with every meeting. if there's no happily every after at the end of this series I might give up

I don't know if I can keep going. I'm getting zero enjoyment out of this book. I don't get how people can do this all day—read books that make them sad or miserable I mean

This book is making me miserable and is creating a profound negative impact on my mental well being. I feel like my trust and forgiveness is being fought for as much as Olivia's. The only reason I'm still reading is because there must be some sort of emotional payoff at the end. But I think it's more likely I'll only be further upset and disappointed by its conclusion

Is he slow? this is like humiliation porn, I'm crying

I actually like/feel bad for some of these kids and parents. I actually don't want to see any of them get hurt oh no
