Finally getting around to finishing my book club pick!

I love the internal monologue! It’s a good read so far and I’d recommend it, based on the flow of writing. It feels like a stream of consciousness and I love it!

Both a creatively historic recounting, but also a comedic way to approach an alternate timeline with Harriet Tubman!

Definitely a great read and there are many great meditative practices mentioned. I will likely seek the physical copy at some point to write out these practices because it’s difficult to catch every one in the audiobook.

My new DC feminist book club pick! Such an interesting read, especially as I don’t have a great knowledge in marine animals. I love the general “you” and “we” in this read, that leaves it open to people, (marine) mammals, or something entirely different.

As a gal who loves queer theology, I’m really into this. Definitely an easy way to enter this world of understanding with a pretty intersectional lens!

Currently zooming through, but I would agree with some of the other reviews—sort of insufferable stereotypical queer folks. It’s a relatively light read (so far), so I’m glad I picked it up on my Kobo, but I’m not sure if I’d recommend it if you’re looking for anything of substance.

I watched the first half of the film version and enjoyed it! I read the first 85 pages in one standing and absolutely flew through it!

I keep getting in and out of enjoying this. I’m so bummed that my love for Emily Henry books has begun to diminish :(

I’m shocked at how much I love this book. I’ve been going back and forth between listening to the audiobook and reading my physical copy with the audiobook on in the background, but I’m absolutely loving it. I can see myself rereading it and getting more out of it each time!

I don’t know how to describe the love and frustration I feel about this book. It’s such an important discussion of being outed and being out.

I started listening instead of reading on my Nook, and so far, I’m enjoying it! As always, I love listening to memoirs read by the author.

I read passages from this for a class last semester and I loved it then. I’m glad I’m finally sitting down to read the book in its entirety!

I’m looking to hear more arguments about the climate, but so far, it’s the same as I’ve heard. That could definitely be because of when it was published, but I’m not disliking it.

Definitely check out the trigger warnings before going into this, but so far, I’m loving it! Jess is a fantastic storyteller and I’m truly enjoying getting to know her family!

Still feeling so cutesy and funny. For sure a 4-star so far! I’m not really sure what’s supposed to happen in the plot, but it’s a sweet, short, little story!
