Honestly so frustrating how much I enjoy this book yet the author picked the most boring timeline as the main one. 2022 makes a sht setting. Anything within the last 5 yrs tbh.

I think showing her life in El Salvador at the beginning is a mistake bcs now I want to read that instead of the depressing current life

suspense and mystery with subtle romance, who wouldn't love that ? ugh I'm obsessed

I feel like this book is extremely underrated. Probably because the cover doesn't seem so interesting, but the content though !!!!!! Definitely right up my alley

where the hell is this going and why am I still halfway through?

pacing is extremely grinding this time around. it feels like one of those essay assignments you have where you just spew whatever comes into your head to make it as long as possible for the sake of it.

I know I barely get to it but so far it's been complaints over complaints for me

I know year 2 gets more intense but the writing is incredibly grating the series lost all the fun it had that made it successful and enjoyable by many :/
