I enjoy a lot of this author's writing, but this book felt like a story about a horny adult version of Wednesday Addams, of Addams Family fame. The plot was interesting, but at 30 percent through the book, I wondered if it would hold my interest enough to finish...

At 33% I called it quits. Nothing wrong with the plot, I simply couldn't connect with the personality of the main protagonist

Very imaginative writer, but the character and dialog lack maturity. The grammar isn't bad, but a lot of the story may come across better with less, rather than more in the sentence structure. At 34%, I'm done with this one.

I really enjoy this series

This will be a DNF. Much as I love Hadley's writing, the pace is too slow and the conflict doesn't hold the intensity I have come to expect in prior stories. A good story line, but I prefer the more epic stories.

So far, excellent stories- all 4-5 star rated. Worth more than the .99c I paid.

Almost as bad as the first, with the same issues of plot holes, inconsistent world-building, and no development of the main female character. The review is not looking good for this one.

Argh! Never start a Maas book before bed. I was up ready until 2am because I started this novel at bedtime. What was I thinking?

Returning to Amazon. Author has no clue about punctuation or grammar. Distracting from a potentially excellent story.

I am really enjoying the complexity of the plot so far. I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi, but the story has kept me engrossed almost from the start.

Slow start, and lost me in some of the PoV changes (I was intrigued, then was cut off by a cut to a different scene). At the 50% mark, it got more intriguing and I'm glad I stuck with the slower scenes.

Some great example s of the genre-- a good read so far

Damn! I love this series. It's amazing how the author can bring all these sub-plots together.

Painfully high school attitude- can't finish

So far I'm enjoying the story-- Michael and Elizabeth are like old friends, and it's been wonderful to continue their storyline.

I bought this three weeks ago, on release day-- I am still struggling to get through it. Technically the story is fine, sex is good, and pace is all right--- I've just made no emotional connection to any of the three characters. Slooooowwwwww reading for me.

I won't be able to finish this one-- it's an excellent plot, but between using flowery euphemisms for intimate body areas and Aiden calling her Precious every paragraph, I can't finish, no matter how great the base story line is. Potentially a 4-5 star rating for readers who like this type of language in a romance.. as the plot kept me reading thru the euphemisms (Precious used so often became too much)

I just can't stand Steph, and intensely dislike her way of handling her relationship. Almost 3/4 into the book, and I have to give up.
