This book title is the perfect example of what they call in digital marketing “click bait”

I don’t know how a psycologist and PhD holder came up with the title which has a negative vibe attach to it.

My question is will you eat a food which looks suspicious?

If you need people to pay attention, fear is not the the word to start with

My problem with this book and all books of this genre is that books are just books, if we read bible , Torah, Quran or any other book, teachings are the same but doing that’s the problem most of us have if not everyone. Book reading is a good hobby, but how many who read pull this off?
Psychology is a failed profession, it might help businesses but people, i highly doubt that

Every self help book talks about same thing and this is no different.

I am not sure where this book is heading.

It amazes me that people in power like Senators turns disciples of ethics and morality while remaining part of power group.

American politicians are no different than any other country in this regard.

This book is no different than any other in regard to behavioral analysis of a powerful society. Such matters are already public knowledge.

Did't find it interesting

So far it’s a good read and I like her using The Last Supper as an example. It makes a lot more sense.

I got this book from library today, it’s funny that I find lead character so insufferable that first 100 pages finished within 30 minutes.

I also noticed that I loaned this book back in 2022 but I have no memory of it, since I love the title so much? But book seems like complete opposite so far. Personally I preferred someone who reads book because of love and not because of profession

I have a love and hate relationship with this book. It’s interesting to explore lives of a queer magazine but I never met someone with office fling or relationship with a coworker so it’s strange to me that how normal writer made it.

Second, not a user of social media, I am having a hard time understanding metaphors and those celebrity names used in the book.But it’s a good read and enjoying it

Book has a different take on how people interact one another. Everything is contextual and it seems small act are microscopically analyzed as sexual attraction. It could probably be me to see it this way.

One thing I would like to point out that writer assumed that a reader knows all the terms and people that being used in the books.

Like the room names or conference rooms.

Enlightening. I had no idea about scissoring or there is a profession as didlo reviewer. Interesting. Most of lesbians are vegetarians. Interesting, I am learning a lot.

It’s a detail analysis of different factors their influence over Bram Stokers Novel.

I think it’s a very good read. I am myself not an academic person but one can call it a research paper or an essay of Dracula/vampire character, German literature influence and how Bram Stoker assemble different fragments and takes from other writers , shall we say inspired by them

After reading Bram Stoker, I was curious about the origin of methodology and facts so I started to read this one.

I just started this after reading the silence of the lambs.

It’s an interesting read but unless you are good at remembering details it’s long. Getting to know the family tree is probably for the historians. I am a nerd for Star Wars so I understand those who love this book, though I can’t feel that intensity myself.
