I was listening to the audiobook and bought it on my kindle because I could not believe the things I was hearing and I was hoping to be mistaken. I wasn’t, it was actually way worse what I thought I heard. I listened some more, got uncomfortable, fact checked and ended up studying instead. This means nothing more than that Baites had written a powerful book.

finally getting to the romance 🥰 it’s a bit slow paced but the writing is beautiful. It’s set in a town I love. In the season I love. With characters I respect.
