Getting exciting. Reminiscent of Stranger Things

"Turn the Other Cheek". First chapter so far I disagree with. But good read nonetheless.

Feel like DNF'ing. So far only one small stroke of brilliance (the flower stem cut), and even that wasn't followed through. Plus Matahachi is insufferable

The argument between Geralt and the elf is a great analogue of the ethnic conflicts in our own world

Geralt is more talkative than expected. Would prefer internal monologue.

The plot thickens. The protagonist showing political brilliance. Pace also picks up.

Historical analogies showing technological advances were blamed for psychological banes for centuries. Yet we coped just fine. Is today's increasing screen time any different?
