This book is becoming very similar to One Dark Window. I can already draw direct comparisons between the characters. Sybil-Elspeth Rory-Ravyn Benji-Elm Maude-Jespyr. I love One Dark Window but the set up of the characters in this series I was hoping would be different. We'll see where it goes.

She has written a montage literally exactly the same way every inexperienced film student does in class I am losing it. Where are the location headings???

Cassandra don’t you know in screenwriting you can’t describe things without some kind of visual. It’s a different medium than a novel😅
This is really bothering me more than it should

I love seeing Cassandra Clare writing a screenplay but as someone who does have a film degree seeing her spell out shots in the script is really bothering me.

The characters in this book are very funny.
