i'm hoping this will be a happy book even though it's nonfiction

i can't read anything rn so i need a silly little ya contemporary to force me into it

this writing style is more modern than i expected but it's funny so i'll allow it

took a bunch of books off of my currently reading need to be realistic here

ok I’ve appropriately adjusted my expectations and am ready to approach this book where it’s at so hopefully I enjoy it more now

i think I’m outgrowing ya…also this beginning is so rushed

this book is very good but very dense. every sentence requires thought. i’m not used to it

i want to go home but I can’t so this is the next best thing

to be clear I’ve completely finished my reread I just associate this book extremely strongly with senior year and I’m terrified to move on from high school so I’m going to reread it again and then buy the paperback to put in my dorm

this is funnier than i expected i like it

I can tell why this is the lowest rated leguin book…however I am undeterred and kind of entertained

shouldn’t have started with the best emma mills book and worked down but it’s fine

I wish we were getting more povs of malini but it’s nbd

this book deserves better than my awful attention span as of late

you have to know I haven’t made progress on this book since the tenth grade and I likely never will
